For use with E2 and E2c Sound Isolating Earphones, SE102MPA, I2c Earphone + Moble Headset, and QuietSpot Boom and Inline models. To accommodate their wider sound nozzles, E2c/i2c and QuietSpot versions come with special wax guards (included in Fit Kit; however, not pre-installed) for keeping out unwanted wax.  These self-adhesive mesh screens act as a protective barrier preventing wax accumulation in the nozzle of the earphone. 

 

Not for use with other models of Shure Sound Isolating Earphones, SE Models or mobile headsets.

Wax Guard Application and Use

 

Place wax guards directly on the nozzle of your earphones before using them. To place a wax guard on one of your earphones:

 

1) Remove sleeve from earphone nozzle.

2) Remove any debris or previously used wax guard.

3) Clean tip of nozzle with an antiseptic or alcohol wipe.

4) Ensure tip of nozzle is dry, and remove a wax guard from the supplied strip.

5) Place it on top of nozzle, adhesive side down.

6) Replace earphone sleeve.

 

 

 

IMPORTANT: Do not place wax guards on earphone sleeves. Wax guards are intended for use on the tip of earphone nozzle ONLY.
